"I reached out to realtor.com because I..."
I reached out to realtor.com because I had an issue I really needed help with, and the whole complaint process just felt like it went in circles. The replies were slow, and when they did respond it mostly sounded like the same copy-and-paste message with my name swapped in or something. I kept thinking okay, maybe the next person will actually read what I’m saying, but then I’d have to explain the same details all over again. Nothing really got fixed, nobody seemed to take ownership of it, and by the end it felt more like they were just trying to mark the case closed than actually help me. It was just frustrating and kind of exhausting.
"The ads were kind of misleading"
I was browsing through the listings and had to do a double take because some of the sponsored posts looked just like regular listings. At first I thought they were actual results, then realized they were ads. It wasn’t super clear, which made the whole thing feel a bit confusing.

"Estimate was far off"
I checked their home estimate for my house and it was way off, especially compared to what similar homes nearby have actually sold for recently. It made me question how accurate the rest of the site is. Useless if you’re trying to get a real sense of pricing

"The photos are really hard to see"
I was trying to browse through the listings, but most of the photos looked really blurry and a lot of them were awkwardly cropped. It made it hard to tell what I was actually looking at, which got frustrating after a while. it left me feeling disappointed because clear photos make such a big difference
"Neighborhood details didn’t match what I saw"
I was trying to use the neighborhood info to get a feel for the area, but a lot of it seemed off or outdated. Little things stood out to me, like nearby spots listed that didn’t seem to be there anymore, and the general vibe didn’t really match what I noticed when I looked around. It made me second-guess the rest of the data too.
"Listings were already gone, and the verification got old fast"
I kept finding rentals that looked available, but when I called, most of them were already taken. On top of that, having to go through verification over and over again made the whole process even more frustrating. It just felt like a lot of wasted time.
"Felt like I was just waiting around"
I tried reaching out to an agent through realtor.com and just kind of sat there waiting for days with no response. Then when someone finally did get back to me, it felt like a generic copy-and-paste message, not really something that answered what I was actually asking. I don’t know, it just left me feeling like I wasted my time when I was only trying to get a simple answer.
"Helpful, but I don’t fully trust it after paying"
I use realtor.com often, and for the most part the listings seem close to accurate. But I’ve had a few times where a place was still showing as available, then I reached out and found out it was already pending or completely gone. The photos and prices are usually updated, just not always quickly enough. After paying and still running into outdated info, I’m a little more skeptical now. It’s still useful, but I always double check with the agent before I get my hopes up

"Something feels off with the filters"
I’m not sure what’s going on, but the filters just don’t seem to work right. I’ll set my price range and property type, then somehow a bunch of random listings still show up that don’t match. It makes the whole search feel frustrating, and I’ve wasted way too much time sorting through results that shouldn’t be there.

"Why is so much basic info missing?"
I don’t know why this is such a struggle, but so many listings are missing basic details. I’ll click on a house and there’s no HOA fee, no lot size, weirdly vague price history, and sometimes the photos don’t even seem to match the property. Like… how am I supposed to take it seriously if I have to double-check everything somewhere else? At that point, what’s the point of using the site? It just makes the whole house-searching process way more annoying than it needs to be.

"Started getting calls after using the site"
I used the site once, and soon after that I started getting random calls and emails I wasn’t expecting. That was my main issue. The service itself might be fine, but based on what happened to me, I really wish the privacy settings had been easier to understand upfront. Not a great feeling.

"Support helped eventually, but I expected clearer instructions"
I reached out to realtor.com support because one of my saved listings was showing outdated info. They did get back to me and were polite, so overall it wasn’t a bad experience.
The only frustrating part was that it took a couple of days, and I had to explain the issue more than once. I also expected clearer instructions on what they needed from me, but it did get fixed in the end.

"I was trying to look up a..."
I was trying to look up a place while planning my errands, and the map kept jumping around every time I moved it or tried to zoom in. I was just sitting at my kitchen table trying to figure out the quickest route, nothing complicated, but it made the whole search way more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Still got charged after I canceled"
I’ll admit I’m probably a bit biased because billing issues really annoy me, but I canceled my account and still got charged afterward. I reached out to support hoping they’d clear it up, but they didn’t really do much to help. Just left a bad taste for me.

"I was looking at a house..."
I was looking at a house on realtor.com and the school zone listed turned out to be wrong. I only found out after calling the district myself, which was frustrating and felt like a waste of time. I get that mistakes happen, but it’s only fair for buyers to be able to rely on basic info like school zones when making decisions.

"Listings could be updated a little faster"
I’ve run into a few homes on Realtor.com that looked available, but once I got excited and reached out, the agent told me they were already pending or gone. It’s frustrating in the moment, though I get that the market moves fast and it may not always be on them. Still, it would be really helpful if the listings were refreshed more quickly

"Poor agent match"
I was matched with an agent who really didn’t seem to know my area at all, which made the whole thing feel like a waste of time. I don’t expect perfection, but it feels like basic decency to connect people with someone who can actually help them.

"More hassle than I expected"
I was just trying to make a simple inquiry, so the whole process felt like more of a hassle than it needed to be. For a more complicated issue, I’d probably understand, but for what I needed, it was a bit frustrating

"Search results feel really hit or miss"
I use realtor.com often, but the search results can be all over the place. I’ll set a specific price range or area and still get listings that don’t match what I asked for, which gets frustrating fast. It makes me feel like the app didn’t even read what I put in, so searching takes way longer than it should.

"So Much for Email Only"
I specifically set my contact preference to email only, because I don’t always have the bandwidth for calls, and then somehow I was still getting calls and texts over and over. Like, why even ask me how I want to be contacted if that’s just going to get ignored? The whole thing felt pushy and kind of scattered, and it got annoying fast.
